To discuss the rehabilitation benefits of warm-water therapy

Our therapists provide personalized, one-on-one physical therapy in the soothing environment of an 86-degree, 50-ft. pool located in a spacious room which is heated to the same 86-degree temperature. Our therapy team has developed a highly effective approach to therapy and it is the only such program available in Southwest Washington.

The therapeutic benefits of physical therapy in warm water include:

  • Increased range of motion for joints
  • Decreased body weight and support, which lessens stress on weight-bearing joints
  • Reduced sensation of pain
  • Muscle relaxation resulting in increased flexibility
  • Improved balance, coordination, and strength due to the buoyancy and pressure of the water
  • Early therapy for non-weight-bearing patients after surgery

With a referral from your physician, our highly trained therapists provide therapy to meet the needs of patients with:

Neurological Conditions: such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS, and others

Post-surgical Recovery: for knee and hip replacement and other orthopedic conditions

Physical limitations: due to arthritis, tendonitis, spinal injury

Pain Management: for neck, back, shoulder, arm, hand, leg, and chronic pain conditions

Balance and Instability Conditions

Geriatric Rehabilitation: of various conditions affecting physical well-being

Why our program is so unique:

  • Therapist works with the patient in the water to provide one-on-one therapy
  • Pool-side lift to provide access for non-weight-bearing patients
  • Ours is the only program in Southwest Washington providing warm-water therapy in a full-size, graduated-depth pool in a room heated to the temperature of the water
  • With special arrangement through Touchmark Home Care, a CNA is available to provide personal care assistance for each aquatic therapy session

We are licensed by the state of Washington and are Medicare certified. We accept most Medicare insurance and have contracts with many private insurance companies, but coverage can vary.  Call us to discuss your situation.

Our program serves people living throughout Southwest Washington State, including Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, Stevenson, Carson, Brush Prairie, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, Kalama, Kelso, Longview, and Castle Rock.
